Support for UNC only access on Windows Client (no drive letter in Explorer)

We've received a few requests from clients and prospects about being able to mount shares via MyWorkDrive without a drive letter, so they don't show up in Windows Explorer as a network drive.
The use cases include
Software that is installed on the computer accessing paths without direct user access.
Infrequently used paths that can be accessed via shortcuts
Situations where there are more shares than available drive letters
